We need your help in developing our next line of cart bags. Please look at the two images below and answer how you would lay out your cart bag when using a trolley.

Comment "A" for metals at the top of the bag and comment "B" for metals at the bottom of the bag.

Any other bag feedback would also be appreciated.

I've got a Staydry bag and the relative heights of the 14 slots dictate that set up as the back (strap side) is higher than the front (putter pit) elevation.
I use neoprene or PU head covers on all my irons to avoid both dings and damage to graphite woods.
Wouldn't really be able access clubs any other way, particularly on a buggy.

Have had to make repairs to the putter pit on this bag due to the material wearing away. I'd prefer an external (rubber?) pit but if it has to stay as it is, then rubber or more resistant material on the rim of the putter pit would be helpful.
The umbrella arrangement needs reconsideration. In my bag set-up, the handle of my Titleist golf brolly impedes the top bracket of my Motocaddy trolley and is fiddly to sort out.

RE: Cart bag club layout

A for me also. Just looking for advice from others, I’ve got 718 AP1 4-PW. I’ve also got vokey sm6 wedges:50 , 54 & 58 degrees. My question; is the gap between the AP1 PW which is 43degree loft and my 50 degree wedge too much? Should I ditch the 50 and get an AP1 48 wedge instead?

I know much of this is personal preference but any advice would help

I posted you out a bag tag at the start of last week. Not sure on delivery times to The Netherlands so keep an eye out.
The WT stamped on the ball you are referring to is the batch reference for the ball factory in case we discover anything with a batch of balls that needs to be addressed.

Winter is coming in the Netherlands. Tempatures dropping below 10 degrees. Not for #TeamTitleist players.. as mentioned on the TT news page I am going to stop caddying on the PGA European Tour. It's been wonderfull 10 years but it's now time to play my own golf.
New Players 14 stand bag (yes, still missing my TT bag tag) , just got new AP2 718 irons & 4 new vokey wedges. I had €60,- euro left in my pocket so I thought let's invest it in the expensive Titleist Pro V1x. Guess what.. 5 pars and 4 bogeys.. not bad. You immediately feel the difference with Pro V1x. I am so happy I bought them, does anyone know why the WT stands for in one of the dimpels? And what are your winter FJ / Titleist gear?

I'm looking forward to read your winter experiences.
[View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-303-00/hqwgmxgyk9inlxgfopso:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-303-00/o9aof8oq5a72olxsm5wu:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-303-00/amqwkgfgblamsp6ikoh7:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-303-00/bizphtlaaemp58zvqpu2:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-303-00/khcemrqjhzmfdn5d6mn9:550:0]

RE: Club gapping

Luke R. We need to make the most of the current sunny/warm October and light before the clocks change in the UK this weekend.

I managed 3 competition rounds last week, 1st tee shot yesterday morning was into the fog. a and will use this week for practice. My game is improving which is frustrating with the changing course conditions and lack of playing opportunities in the coming months.

I'd be guessing but I think the WT might be the mould reference for the cover? As we all know Titleist are market leaders in quality so they would need to be able to track any issues #TrustTitleist

I'm gaming the AVX (although I still have a sleeve of ProV1x's to use up).

Handwarmers, beanie had and wet gloves are already in my bag in preparation. I was also thinking about lofting up my driver for a little more carry once the soft ground returns but my a TS2 3 wood is giving me a good carry distance so that is just a thought for now.

Who have you caddied for on the ET?

Enjoy playing more golf and keep warm.

That's a bit of a gap … but at this end of the bag I think it's all about carry yardages and the type of flight you prefer.

If you know your carry yardages with these clubs for full and half shots (and those in between) and still have a gap then you need to consider your options..

1.Fill the gap with another club (possibly replacing the 50 degree) You could get a Vokey or AP1 gap

2. Adjust the lofts up on the PW and down on the 50 (then you'll have 5 degrees between pw, 50 and 54)

Once you know all the carry distances you should be able to look to lay up to those so you can hit your preferred club.

I have recently moved from SM5 (46, 51, 56, 60) to SM7 (46, 50, 54, 60) and changed the gaping based purely on the numbers. I found I was hitting the SM7 further but it has taken me a little while to get used to the changes especially where I would have historically used my 56 for chipping in certain conditions.

As with anything now use the technology to help get these gaps right.

RE: Gutted...

[quote user="Guv280984"]
Hi guys,

My Global Limited Cover was damaged in transit. Photo attached. Seems there was a puncture mark through the box and caused this damage.

How can I go about getting another one?

I think due to the limited nature of the putter its very unlikely you will get a replacement. Your best hope is to find someone who is planning on using the putter but selling the 'parts' ( grip, shaft, cover) in order to set it up how they like it and recoup some of the cost.

Gutted...

Hi guys,

I had a fitting with Bob back in May and he said my gapping was all wrong due to the big jump from my PW to my 54. I was fitted into (all SM7's) 46 deg F grind, 50 (bent to 51) F grind, 54 (bent to 55) F grind and a 60 S grind. so my gapping is 5, 4, 5. I think Bob would have done it slightly different but I insisted on keeping my lob wedge at 60 so he gapped back from there and that's the set up that was giving him (and me!) the numbers he wanted to see.

RE: UK Bag Tag

Seems I was lucky to get my original Red TT Bag Tag a few years ago but not a sniff of anything else since so perhaps I need a Twitter or Facebook account to interact a bit more?

UK Bag Tag

Hi TT,
