Niko is a 11 year old golfer who got his first hole in one over the weekend at the Michigan Showcase Golf Tournament at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Playing in my home club (Drumpellier golf club, Coatbridge, Scotland) medal (the ford bowl). I go out in 3 over 39 (playing of 19!) and promptly hit panic stations. The back nine starts wobbly, and comes to a head on the 16th, where I carve my tee shot into the trees and lose my ball on my way to making a triple bogey 7! Not sure if I was more angry about the triple bogey or losing a new pro v1 (the fact I had just got the loyalty over of 4 dozen for the price of 3 helped ease the pain) I stood on the 269 yard par 4 17th full of rage/regret/disappointment. A ferocious swing later and my old model pro v1 (I wasn’t risking losing another new one) soared away towards the driveable green with one of my best strikes of the day. The green itself is not visible fully as it’s up hill and a slight dogleg so I headed greenwards, sharing my emotions with my playing partners, happy to have played well, but feeling id thrown it away. Upon reaching the green, I can’t see my ball, so walk backwards assuming it must have caught a free or a bunker. 30 seconds late big Dave walks past the hole and the rest is a blur. I didn’t believe his shout, or his frantic pointing in the hole. I’m still not sure I believe it now. But yep, there she was, the most lovely looking pro v1 I’ve ever seen, nestled at the bottom of the cup. Que mad celebrations and the biggest buzz of my life. My first hole in one and albatross in the one go. I played 18 on absolute jelly legs and managed a bogey 5 to win the medal by 2 shots. Playing Orange County National: Crooked Cat. Played Panther the day before but knew I had to play where a Pro tournament was. Just came off a big birdie, long hole, 201 yards, back pin, down hill little wind on the back. Figure a 7 iron will at least get me to the middle of the green and work from there. Stripe it and see it hit just a hair left of the pin, but with the Florida sun can’t make out where it ended up but knew it was close. As I’m leave the tee I can see what looks like a ball inches from the hole… turns out it was the ball mark. I walk up to the green in a little shock to see no ball… how didn’t a Pro V1 stick or spin back with how I hit it? Oh… it did! Right into the hole! At our annual alumni golf outing held at the Links at Outlook in South Berwick, Maine, my former coach always works the 50/50 closest to the pin contest on the 14th hole, a downhill, 142-yd par 3. One of my favorite holes because we get to hang with Coach for a bit as it usually backs up with foursomes as everybody loves to catch up with him. For my foursome, it was the second to last hole of the day, and I have been bringing up my friends from home, all former football players themselves, but from different schools. Sure enough, there were plenty of former Wildcats hanging around the tee box catching up with Coach when it was our turn to hit. Plenty of witnesses, plenty of celebration once the ball went in the cup. What made it even more special was that the ball I used was a Pro V1 that had a logo on it given as a gift at the memorial tournament our foursome also plays annually in memory of our friend, who we lost 5 years ago. I was diagnosed with tendonitis in September of last year. I haven't been able to play a round of golf since August of 2023. I tried physical therapy, heat treatment, everything. My grandpa told me that I should get a PRP treatment done. Thankfully he was very good friends with a doctor who did it and got me in quickly when it could have been a 3-month wait. I got the treatment done on April 17, and the doctor told me to wait until April 26 to play golf at all. I played with one of my best friends and shot 42, which is not great for me but I was happy with that since I haven't been able to play in 8 months. He asked if I wanted to play again today and I couldn't resist. The day was off to a rough start I started Bogey, Double, lost ball for a double bogey going into the 4th hole which was a par 3. I had found this yellow pro v1 in the woods looking for my ball on 3, I decided to start playing it. There were around 20 mph winds all day with gusts up to 40 mph. The flag was in the front and it was 145 yards away dead into the wind. I grabbed 7 iron and was over the ball about to hit when my friend said he didn't think 7 was enough and that 6 was the best option with how strong the wind was. My friend and I discussed what we should do and what shot we should hit, we decided the best option for both of us was a flighted 6 iron. I hit first, and it could not have been a more perfect of a shot. It landed about 5 feet before the pin, bounced once, and rolled into the hole. It felt like a dream for a second, I turned around to my friend and we both started going crazy. I could not believe that I had made my second hole-in-one. I made my first hole-in-one when I was 7 playing with my great-grandpa, I hit driver on an 88-yard hole up the hill and it magically went in. I couldn't see that one go in or even know the significance of what I had just accomplished. I was fortunate enough to get my second career hole-in-one at Tanners Brook GC in Forest Lake, MN on Hole #8 which was 210 yards that day. the hole was playing into a north wind, and playing about 220-225, so I hit a low flighted 3-Hybrid, and it hit the berm in front of the green, and rolled onto the green about 25 feet and went in the hole. I came to the 9th hole not hitting particularly well so I asked my playing partner if I could try out his new T200 7 iron. He was reluctant, but finally agreed. I said I'd try and not get it dirty. This was the first mens league at a new to me golf course, just move to the area. Haven't swung a club in 4 months, the first Hole we started on was a par 3, I pulled out a new Pro V1, and since I have played much in the past few months, I am going to hit a soft 3 wood, my club is good for 225, and it was 188 to the pin, and to my amazement 1 bounce and the ProV1 made a perfect line right in the hole. We were visiting our son in Atlanta and decided to play the Bobby Jones course as it overlooks the city and is really beautiful. When I hit the shot we saw it roll and disappear. Having been disappointed so many times, I assumed the ball rolled past the pin and down the green so I took my putter. After not seeing the ball on the green, I walked to the hole with cautious optimism and found the ball in the bottom of the cup. I know many people on these forums are Titleist players and do prefer Pro V1s, but I've played TPs for half a year now and love them, I am switching many clubs over to Titleist, and curious if I should switch balls. I have been using just plain Titleist balls for the longest time now and was wondering if I should switch to a Pro V1. I have never tried a Pro V1 and was wondering if I should switch or just stick with what I have.

First post. Beginner golfer. 6 months in. I play 3x a month. Trying to go more. Been using cally supersoft. I had the pleasure of using Titleist pro v1 2 days ago and had my mind blown. While looking through a local ad, i saw an opportunity to get brand new velocity and tour speed for a great price. What's tou guy's opinion or personal experience with Velocity and Tour speed? Despite being a golfer who typically shoots in the high 80s and that it’s my third Hole in One was mostly due to luck with perhaps just a hint of skill, the thrill of achieving this remains as exhilarating as ever. After 15 years of consistent play, each new hole in one experience on different golf courses continues to get me addicted. Opting to play from the white tees still offers its advantages, reminding me to persevere and continue playing twice a week. It was a late afternoon game when I made this shot. I never thought I made a hole-in-one on this hole because it was a blind shot and I thought the ball just rolled down over the green. Upon going down to the green I noticed there was a divot near the cup and no ball to be found. I figured I'd grab my wedge thinking it probably rolled passed the green to the rough. I passed the hole didn't even bother looking in the cup. I didn't find my ball on the rough, so my dad, coming towards the cup, held up his phone started recording and said "No ball? Check the cup! Is that another hole-in-one!!?" It was in the cup, I picked it up and smiled saying, "It's my third hole-in-one since I've been playing golf and all of them with a Pro V1." I’m An 11 handicap player I currently play 2021 T200 irons so went for a fitting for the new T200 irons was told I’m putting to much spin on the golf ball the fitter suggested changing from pro v1 to Avx is there much off a difference any thoughts welcome.

Often use a Calloway ball but had just finished 13 with losing a ball. Came to 14 with the wind in our face, took a Pro V1 out of my bag. Usually would use a wedge but with the wind used a 9 instead. Ball was dead straight and hit the front of the green. Could not see the hole only the top of the flag. When we got to the green my ball was not seen and I thought it probably got hung up in the grass in front. Looked but no ball. One of the other players walked by the hole and said, Congratulations you got an ace! Guess I should use a Pro V1 more often, huh?

I'm 67 years old and was wondering if I would ever join the hole-in-one club. I finally achieved that goal during our club championship. It was from an elevated tee box, so I was fortunate enough to see it one hop - hit the pin - and go in. I have a double eagle from 4 years ago to go with the ace, both while using Pro V1 golf balls.

Playing Eastlake in San Diego ca (now known as enagic) The tour does a qualifier for the open there from time to time. We were having our monthly club tournament for our club called the lumberjacks. It was actually our Players championship tourney. I had a great start with a birdie on hole #1 i was tied for 1st until magic happened on hole #7 we were playing from the blue tee, I scoped 151 with a little wind in the face I pulled 8 iron and hit a cut into the left side of the green, my pro V1 hit left side and got a nice kick that rolled the ball toward the center and at the pin we all quietly watched as my ball disappeared!! I was in disbelief!! I’ve been close so many times but one finally fell and I took the solo lead in the tourney. Fast forward to the final hole I was down 2 and hit the pin with an eagle chip from 40 yards to almost force a playoff. During that offseason, he made a call to Titleist Tour Rep Jim Curran , asking for a set of Titleist irons, similar to the ones he had played as a junior golfer and in college at the University of Georgia. Said Curran: “Brian called me during the offseason holidays last December (2016) and said he played Titleist irons before he turned professional and has not had that feel in his iron ball striking since then. He ordered a set of 716 CB’s and we agreed to meet on the range in Palm Springs the Monday of CareerBuilder. It was then that we dialed in his loft, lies and yardages. From there, Brian was low maintenance all season. I would check his grips, lofts and lies roughly once a month and he did the rest.” Harman put his new set of CB’s in play for the first time that Thursday at PGA West’s Nicklaus Course. (He now plays the 620 CB models.) “Very first time when I played (the CB’s) was in Palm Springs,” Harman said in 2018. “I worked with Mr. Jim Curran and we got them figured out. Finished third that week and I was having a pretty nice year.” Three months later, Johnson Wagner asked Harman, who was still playing a competitive golf ball, if he wanted to team up at the Zurich Classic (the first year that the Zurich went to the team format). “He was kind of curious as to what ball we wanted to play,” Harman said. “I said, ‘I played Titleist balls in college and everything. We’ll just play your ball (in alternate shot), no problem. “We had a nice tournament... It got really windy. I was hitting some shots with Johnson’s ball, shots that I just couldn’t hit with the ball I was playing. After that round, I decided to switch to the Pro V1. …” “I hit one shot on the second hole the last day in New Orleans (with the competitive ball) that spun up into the wind. I hit it flush but it came up 10 yards short and plugged in the bunker. And I just remember thinking, ‘That’s the last time I’m going to hit that ball. I’m switching balls.’” The following week, Harman teed up Pro V1 at the Wells Fargo Championship. On Sunday, he birdied 17 and 18 at Eagle Point GC to win by one shot. “I won the next week with it (Pro V1), the very first week I played it,” Harman said. Harman reiterated the significance of his switch prior to the ‘22 Open Championship at St. Andrews, where he finished T6: “The reason I switched back to Titleist was because of windy days and with Open Championships and major championships in mind. To flight the ball and not have to worry about it getting up and getting out of hand was a big deal.” “I switched to this ball in 2017 from a different company and the effects were immediate. You know, the last four years on tour have been my best four put together,” Harman said prior to the 2022 U.S. Open. “I just was never able to flight my old ball. I had trouble controlling and especially in the wind and we ended up playing so much wind out here. The effects for me were immediate switching to this Pro V and I mean, it’s been a complete 180. I had just finished working a morning shift at the golf course, and decided to play an afternoon round with a group of friends. It was hole 12, over the pond, to a right front pin. It was a clear sunny day with no wind, and I was between clubs before the shot. Decided to hit a cut off 9 iron instead of a pitching wedge. Flushed it with a little draw tracking at the pin. It landed a foot to the right of the hole pin high, skipped forward, and spun back into the hole. It was difficult to believe and see, but when we got to the green the divot was right beside the hole and my pro V1 was at the bottom of the cup. I’ve been golfing since the 1970’s. I was playing a good game with two other friends when we came up to hole 7, a 116 par 3 into a slight head win. I launch a nice 9 iron high into the air and it hit the middle of the green. The flag was on the back right corner over a small downhill. We never saw it go into the hole but there it was. Windy day in February, playing golf in the Northeast. Finally a nice day in February, went down to my local course to get some swings in and get some exercise. Sunny day but wind blowing 20+ 4th hole is a elevated tee box, plays around 85 Yds. normally but wind in my face I clubbed up to a 100 Yard shot. So I reached into my pocket & pulled out my ball, Titleist Pro-V1. As soon as I hit it I knew it was good shot, at first I thought it was a little long but wind knocked it down a little bit, ball hit on edge of cup, rattled the pin & dropped straight in. Guys on 2nd hole turned & yelled up, dude that went in! Yeah baby, so exciting. High fives & a few photo's and back into golf mode to finish my round. Couldn't wait to get home to tell my Wife. Living in Northern Minnesota, i was eager to get out and golf for the first time after a long winter. My friends and i planned a trip down to the twin cities metro area to play. It was a beautiful evening for men’s night at Thomson Lake Regional Park in Sask, on July 26, 2023. It was a shotgun start so I ended my round on Hole #3, which is a 160 yard Par 3 and is slightly uphill. The shadows were getting long when I tee’d up my Titleist Pro V1 on the last hole. I am a Senior golfer and I selected my 4 Hybrid as the shot was playing about 170 due to being uphill and the cooler air setting in. I made great contact with a slight draw and the ball landed on the front of the green, bounced once and rolled perfectly into the hole. After a few high fives we finished the hole and went to the clubhouse to celebrate. The hole in one was very special because my son was there to witness it along with a couple of other club members. I was playing at my local club, Moorestown Field Club, in NJ. I had a 10 am Tee time and it was about 39 degrees. I was hitting a yellow Pro V1 on hole 4. It was playing approximately 87 yards with a cross wind left to right. I hit my 50 degree loft wedge, I hit it approximately 3 yards past the hole and rolled back into the cup! I’m 74 and was paired up with a few 30 somethings. The youngsters were pretty much really long with nice looking swings. On hole eight I mentioned to them that with the pin placement in the back left if you hit to the far right side of the green the ball would roll to the pin if you had enough carry. I had a 6 iron in my hand for the 168 yard shot but at the last second I decided to go up a club due to the cool February breeze. I hit the 5 iron a couple of paces back from the tee marker and as the ball approached the green I said “right there.” The ball landed on the upslope but managed to make it to the upper level and rolled across the slope about 30 feet right into the hole. The youngsters were pretty excited, one stating he had never seen a hole in one. Another said you called your shot and damn if you didn’t make it. This was my third hole in one. All with Titleist Pro V1’s.

And so, when I first tried them, shocker, professional golfers don't hit perfect golf shots all day long, but I would hit one barely on the heel, barely on the toe. And I'm thinking, ‘Oh, I must've lost seven, eight yards on that.’ And it was going the same distance as when I hit it solid. And honestly, we were on the range when all of us were together in LA testing it, and we were just kind of goofing around. One of the best shots I have hit with my 9-iron. Felt perfect from the start. The hole was a bit uphill, 151 from the white, played it like 140. Shot landed a little left at the start and trickled down to the right. My friends started rushing me to get to the cart saying that it was in, but I thought I put it right behind the hole a bit for a good birdie try. We drove up and saw nothing on the green, so I jumped out of the moving cart to go check. Saw my Pro V1 with the green line peeking back up at me from the bottom of the hole and lost it.

I have been playing golf now for over 40 years. When I first started playing, I played with a mix of “hand me down” clubs and would occasionally play a Titleist ball if I found one in the woods or creeks. As I got older and became more financially secure, I started playing the Titleist ball (pre Pro V1 days), I found it to be superior. I then started playing mostly Titleist clubs. Even if I hit different branded clubs in my search for “perfection”, I found myself coming back to Titleist clubs. Recently I was custom fitted for clubs, despite testing other brands, the Titleist clubs had the best feel and performance so I bought them. These qualities transferred from the fitting studio to the course! I now have a full bag of Titleist clubs and play only the ProV1. I am playing the best golf of my life. Thank you Titleist for your quality and consistency over the years. I always came back to Titleist and now I will never stray again.

Hi All I play the T200 w/AMT black R300s. They work well. My question is in regards to trackman data. I play the Pro v1 and been working on my swing immensely this winter I swing the 8 iron 73-75 mph and my question pertains to spin data. I hit down on the ball no problems and max spin I can get with a 8 iron is 5390 or thereabouts. I believe my spin should be higher. I have contemplated trying a V1x however I cannot get on with hard balls... Is spin mostly affected by the shaft? I plan to get fit in the spring. I was playing a good round then I hit a solid 4 iron into the green. It went straight at the flag but we never found it. I was shocked and mad, I stormed off to the 8th hole, grabbed a new pro V1 threw it down. Then I just guessed the yardage and hit a perfect one. We saw it one hop and disappear but we couldn’t see the hole. We got up to the green and the ball was gone. After that we were so excited that we played like 4 more holes, I booked us 4 flights to Vegas and payed 2500 ish to play the Wynn golf course the next day. We didn’t have much time and only had one good travel bag so we all dumped our clubs out and put 60 clubs and no bags into the travel case. Shortly after, we went to Ross to get clothes for the bars because it was the only place open. After our odd choice of clothes, we get to the airport late carrying a 120 pound travel bag with no other luggage. To only see that we accidentally went to the wrong airport. We tried to pay a guy to drive us to Vegas that we met at in n out burger, google every private jet or helicopter service we could but nothing was working out since it was 11 at night. Eventually we gave up and lost all the money we spend on the hotels, flights and tee times.
